Description
A child makes friends with the chickens. This work is based on a 60-year-old photograph of a distant cousin. The family lived in a rural area of Ohio, and raised many animals. I visited this same farm in 1965 and met the cousin in question (all grown up, of course), and even got to spread a little chicken feed of my own.
